Hi Larry:

Thanks for the information.

There are a few questions about a divided key channel. I am assuming
that if you remove a pallet you will see six 'slots' and each slot is
a sub-channel which has a HW and PED pallet connected. If, e.g., the
HW pallet opens the air will not go into the PED key channel because
the 'slots' are flush with the pallet opening and the closed PED
pallet prevents the air from going elsewhere. [?] Do the pallets and
pallet opening have to be longer than normal? Is there a diagram of
this in any organ history, etc. books? I have not been able to find
any in our music library.

Is it more difficult to build such a windchest than to use the valve
method? With my plan I will have to build a windchest with 21 of
these such divided key channels.

I do hope this makes sense -- I HAVE NOT HAD ENOUGH COFFEE THIS
MORNING!

Bobby Hall.
