My piano teacher, an otherwise lovely man, permanently
ruined two Brahms pieces for me... In the Intermezzo op 117 #2 at the Piu
Adagio, he sang the following: "Laroux shampoo . . . is good for you . . .
La roux shampoo . . . is good for you, it makes your hair look good as new."
The opening of the Rhapsody of 119 # 4 was "I have been saved by the
Salvation Army, Damn! Damn! Damn!"
It's a great teaching technique--they're burned into my brain.
