Hmmm.... Well, I couldn't agree less! I feel a huge difference between
c-minor and b-minor. This is subjective , of course, (and your
impressions are correct for *you*!), but I find these two keys to possess
entirely different "colors." In my "experience," keys 1/2 step apart
never sound similar. Keys a perfect fifth apart sound more similar! For
example, Ab and Eb sound more "alike" in color (not in pitch level, of
course) than do Ab and A. Just my humble opine!
