Book II was never released in its entirety in the US (but it was
available in Europe). A single LP (and cassette; has anyone seen it on
CD?) with WTC exerpts--appropriately titled "The Well-Tempered
Clavichord"--was released on DG Musicfest 413 419. Taken from
Kirkpatrick's clavichord WTC traversal, it includes the following P&Fs
from Book II: 12, 13, 15, 19, 24. Its release and a subsequent review
led to a spirited discourse between Edward Strickland and myself in
_Fanfare_ Magazine.

BTW, Kirkpatrick preferred these clavichord recordings to his later
harpsichord WTC, as do I.
