I just came across the Yale collection's samples of previous concerts...
In only one case do they actually reveal which harpsichord was used -
I would be interested to know what Repham played the Louis Couperin
Don't bother trying to listen to the tracks with harpsichord
'accompaniment' - the instruments are mostly inaudible. The Bach
violin/hpcd is particularly badly recorded.
Brookshire is audible enough, but also (to me) particularly
distressing - is that really what a Hass sounds like? What a racket.
Opaque, mechanistic and aggressive -- I don't see why anyone would
choose to play rhythmically incessant or contrapuntally complex music
