Question to the assembly:
how does one un-stick modern tuning pins mounted in a relatively new walnut
pinblock? The problem I'm encountering here is that they go pretty heavily
and tick-tick-tick, as opposed to just a bit tight. Not a nice thing for the
weak-of-wrist. Micro-fiber wiping, or mounting the pins a bit higher up,
helps for a few turns and then the stuttering starts again. Talcum?
Graphite? Trained cockroaches? A prayer? Dynamite??
