Barbara and I went down to Princeton last Sunday to hear a recital by Gavin Black on his old Italian. He had a music rack that stood on a heavy floor stand and cantilevered over the side, so nothing neede to touch the antique.
I searched the web for it and found it. It is called a Levo Bookholder. It was designed for reading in odd positions, but it does nicely. We ordered it and it came today. Barbara was playing the Obici with a music stand behind it, a little far for her eyesight.
We assembled the Levo, and she is very happy using it now. It will go over the sides of the wing-shaped harpsichords as well, just as it did with Gavin's.
