Good morning - Yes, the B&G workshop still exists sort of, although
only the B part; we are researching the Oregon address, which I
have somehow failed to record.
APSCO (and the other major piano supply house, Tuners of Boston,
now defunct) had a few things. Zither pins (miniature piano tuning
pins) and hard steel wire ("for harpsichords, zithers, and cheese
cutters" as Tuners Supply used to say) are typical. TS also used
to retail Burton jacks, but with Burton long gone those are now as
scarce as hens teeth.
Depending on what you need, we may be able to help out. The Stonington
shop has a parts list with maintainance supplies, and I have a
large collection of stuff from 20+ years of making harpsichords
work.
Not to be too commercial about it - does anybody make money
with these things?
