Re: New Moller Sound:
Didn't Dan Angerstein go to Wicks, perhaps with some other ex-Moller
folks? The former Moller head read voicer said at the auction that he
had really enjoyed voicing the en-chamade reeds for their 1990 Charlotte
organ (on 15 inch pressure, or was it 18?). The CD is on the way from
the OHS; I can hardly wait! Michael Laird, can you more say some more
about your experience playing that organ?
Re: Small blowers
Does anyone have good info on small blowers for residence organs,
say, about 8 ranks on 2.5 to 3 inches? The .45 hp Ventus is very small,
silent, and well-built, but it costs about $1500 from Organ Supply. Are
there other good choices, especially for an in-the-case blower for
a small room and a small budget?
Thankx muchly! Larry Chace ([log in to unmask])
