   Salutations Esteemed Colleagues:

I was delighted to be informed by a staff member of our university
computer center of the existence of this new list, or at least new to
me. I have no knowledge of what discussions have transpired here to
date. There is a similar bulletin board on Prodigy called Arts Club
which has a music subdivision with a topic entitled Organ Chat. It is
a pretty active board with lots of interesting and informative
discussions. If PIPORG-L turns out to be similar to the Prodigy Organ Chat,
it should be great fun, and informative along the way as well!
The organ scene out here in the Fargo, North Dakota/Moorhead, Minnesota
area is alive and well with the recent installation of a new Holtkamp,
the enlarging of an existing Austin, and the completion of a Johnson
tracker at three local Lutheran churches. With the demise of Moller,
the proposed installation at our new Gethsemane Cathedral (Episcopal)
which was to be a Moller has been sent back to the drawing board.
The new cathedral is in the Prairie Gothic style of architecture.
The tower looks like an elegant grain elevator.

                                                 Regards,

                                                 Bradley J. Steen
