For Lee Ridgway:

Re the earlier Leonhardt recording of Froberger you asked about.
I was the poster of that reference (although I don't recall giving the
CD number). Here's the information again:

        J. J. Froberger: Werke fuer Cembalo/Works for Harpsichord
Toccata XII (in a), Suite XX (in D), Fantasia II (in e), Lamentation
(for Ferdinand III, 1657), Toccata III (in G), Suite I (in a),
Toccata X (in F), Suite XV (in a)
        Deutsche Harmonia Mundi 05472 77200 2 (recorded 1962)

This originally appeared in the US on RCA Victrola. The CD reissue
never appeared in the US (I saw a copy in Munich, but ordered mine from
Blackwell's in Oxford). I should warn you that this appears to be out of
print in the UK; at any rate, it's not in the most recent _Gramophone
Classical Catalogue_. So, if you can get a copy, do it no
o I hope that if you are interested, it's not too
late to pick up a copy. Good luck.
