Thanks Michael. You're correct of course. When I typed my original
posting I couldn't find a computer keyboard code for the combined A and
E character. I will carefully re-check everything before I apply ink,
you can be sure! I have considered possibly some of the more humorous
parodies of Latin mottoes that have been suggested here in years past.
But this instrument will hopefully have a long life and I fear such
jokes may be tiring after a time, so I'll probably keep with something
traditional.
