'Allo - I can't recall whether I've asked before.

A client today asked me whether anyone has recorded the set of
preludes from l'Art ...

She has a recording of one or two on a disc from Peter Sykes, which
she likes. I suppose we could ring him up (I was once mistaken for his
father) and get him to zap off the set ...

Or maybe Dr.Daly has put them all on a disc.

And, a related question ... Is there anything in the CD world
equivalent to _bibliofind_ in the book world? I suppose the profit
margin for First Edition cds would be a trifle lower ... We did
turn up the preludes on an Erato set by Olivier Baumont, but it
seems unavailable.

The student's one of Jillon's, a auite accomplished pianist
finding her way into "our" literature.

"And now, before we got to bed, let us sing the school song! Everybody
pick their favorite tune, and off we go!" Everybody finished the song at
different times. Dumbledore conducted their last few lines with his wand
and when they had finished, he was one of those who clapped loudest.
"Ah, music," he said, wiping his eyes. "A magic beyond all we do here."
