Dear George,
I'm afraid there is no ready made tool to do so. As it happens I was working exactly on this today. First job is to make sure that your intonation is working perfectly. When you're happy with that, switch off the register and check for "ghost" notes. If you have some: in quite a lot of cases it is sufficient to cut of a little bit of the plectrum. Of course you have to switch on the register again to verify that you didn't remove too much and thus have a note which sounds too weak. In the latter case: redo from scratch or push the plectrum a bit deeper if possible. If you have jacks with an adjustment screw for the length of the tongue then the work is a bit easier of course then you're swerving from the righteous path of the real intonator 😉
Sunny greetings,
Chris.

Onderwerp: Ghosting to set plectra length
Please tell me if there is a special tool or technique to adjust the length of each plectra while Ghosting a register. I have been pulling the offending jack and estimating where the plectra is to be cut, but this has proven to be somewhat inaccurate in my hands, Any suggestions?
