Hi again - You's reminding me of my ill-fated time in Santa Fe,
where the Dowd belonging to St.John's college was in the middle
of the dining space with folding chairs piled on it on all sides.
There seemed to be no one with the authority to excavate it.

The instrument I made with donated labour for my Alma Pater had
its lid flap ripped off by puttin' it down on the music desk. Even
R's beautiful Dowd Mietke was in disrepair a year after he died
in the room where he taught, from folks who couldn't manage anything
so complicated as a lid hinge.

We can accellerate the winter depression a whole bunch to dwelling
on these tales, I'm sure.
