I received my copy yesterday (as a subscriber), and can’t wait to dive into it next week. (Beach reading in Provincetown? Why not? Leonhardt knew how to sail!)

Seriously, I think any of us who is involved with the harpsichord, clavichord, organ, performance practice, and musical culture of the last 60 years or so will want to read the journal cover to cover. It provides a window into a time of musical discovery, experimentation, controversy, abundance, and all sorts of paths through what was a flourishing time for early music.
