Just a short note to let you know that my friend and colleague Tae  
Ioka, President of L'Oiseau-Lyre co ltd, has invited me to assist her  
once again at the exhibition for the 23rd Competition for Early Music  
in Yamanashi Kofu near Tokyo, May 2 & 3.

The competition and exhibition is a focal point in the calendar for  
the many full-time Japanese harpsichord makers. It now has its own

After Yamanashi, I'll have a few days in Tokyo then continue my Asian  
harpsichord maintenance tour, visiting Seoul, Taipei, Kaohsiung, Hong
