These are indeed lovely instruments. Technically, in the state of California, it is illegal to sell anything containing ivory. Technically.

Subject: Square fortepiano Broadwood and Son 1795 on craigslist
One of my housemates noticed this craigslist listing --
http://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/msg/5606235067.html
Broadwood and Son 1795 square piano - $3000 (sonoma)
I've decided to part ways with this beautiful antique square piano! It
is a Broadwood and Son Piano from the 1790s. It was made in London. It
really deserves to be preserved and possibly in a clavier museum. It
has some paperwork and was completely refurbished at one point I think
in the 1990s! This is a unique, rare piece of musical history! I
believe it marks the transitional phase from harpsichord to our
traditional grand piano. This was made during the times of William
Herschel, a fine musician who mapped out the Milky Way Galaxy!

I would consider trades.
*********
Someone told us, Broadwood made an instrument for Beethoven.
Ivory on the keyboards -- can be issue in selling --ad mentions paperwork......
http://www.broadwood.co.uk/serial_numbers.html
suggests "John Broadwood and Son" is 1794, earlier than 1808
Looks like the number, in pencil, is 1 1 6 0 5 ?
