Nevertheless....
 
The late harpsichordist/musicologist, Doris Ornstein, who was
a friend, recommended the Korg Digital Tuner DT-1, which she
used.  I would like something which produces a louder tone.
 
BTW, Gasparo Gallante has released on CD the Bach Sonatas for
Viola Da Gamba and Harpsichord that Doris recorded with Catharina
Meints (GG-1001).  The performances are superb, as they are on the
original LP; but the sound is tubby.
