Hi Marsha,

I lived near Des Moines for several years but am no longer in Iowa. If you
need harpsichord maintenance/regulation, I highly recommend Ed Kottick. He
built my first fortepiano, and has built many harpsichords and clavichords,
and taught me so much -- how to replace strings, etc. If needed and/or
desired, he could probably also give you some basics on tuning, if you want
to tune your own instrument. In case you're not aware, you can use a
smartphone app (Cleartune or PitchLab) to set the temperament.

Best wishes,
Carol lei Breckenridge
