Yo ho - My solution to the problem of the Oboeist with the Damn
Electronic Gizmo is to have a bigger Eletronic Gizmo, with more
flashing lights than his / hers. You can always fudge a dial
somehow to proove that the pitch is sharper than  s/he thinks,
and that all is really well, and that it must be a slighly funny
reed.
 
Our new symphony hall, btw, has speakers in every room which will
play music from either stage, muzak, or a constant 440!
 
Long story about pitch with an oboeist and an organ with a Notable
Baroque Orchestra ... but that's another tale.
