The New England Organist is looking for writers to publish articles that
would be appropriate for our readership in the New York, New England and New
Jersey areas. Our writers generally provide us with articles that pertain to
church music (choral and organ), recitals, workshop reviews etc. We have had
articles written by such notables as Barbara Owen, Jonathan Ambrosino, George
Bozeman, Agnes Armstrong and a host of choir directors and organists
throughout the Northeast.

Recent articles have included:
*How to deal with the aging choir member
*Putting on an organ concert in your church
*Highlights of area musical events
*Articles on composers that have made their mark in the NE area
*Reviews of new CD's of choral and organ music
*Reviews of conferences and workshops in the NE
*Stories on musical programs in the church setting
*Specials on the histories of musical programs in various congregations

If you are interested in assisting us with information that would benefit our
readership (currently a circulation of about 1,000), please e-mail us at NE
[log in to unmask] Since we are a non-profit organization, we don't have the
resources (here it comes) to pay standard writers fees, but we often assist
our writers with free advertisements in our magazine for whatever concerts,
recordings or publications you may have to offer. Hope to hear from you soon!
