So unfortunate that this could not have been well before Feb. 2005. The recital commentary on the music of composer Johann Adolphe could have been on Public Radio by Karl Haas, thus, thoughts of "Haas on Hass on the Haas Hass with Hasse" all broadcast from a 'haus' in Hesse...
BTW--the Puyana Hass is really best with only the most decadent of musics, but what does it sound like with its separate parts played as sole registers? I feel that would severely disappoint; certainly one would only rarely use a solo 2' and with great preparation & clenched teeth until concert finish !
I yesterday read that D. Scarlatti when an question if he would give harpsichord lesson to the Portuguese C. Seixas that it was Seixas that should rather supply lessons to Scarlatti...this notes influences most reliably that the two minds met at those moments. in the mid '20s.

"It reminds me that I once, thirty years ago, played a copy of the three-manual 1740 Hass that had been built by Ron Haas of California. Does anyone know where that instrument is now? I've always wanted to hear a recital on in by Arthur Hass, so that I could hear "Haas on the Haas Hass".."
