Hello Michael,
I don't believe there is any dissatisfaction with the present usenet style
mailing list. It was a trolling comment [I hesitate to use that word, but
it does seem apropos, as the aim of trolling is to stir people up
unnecessarily] that started this thread from a single member.
groups.io is a so called freemium service (what a dreadful term). So it's
not free for advanced group control features. I assume it can support
photos, and I see, sadly (!), it can support facebook notification requests
- the very last thing I want to see.
Thanks for the creative suggestion, but I don't perceive there is any call
to make such a move presently, unless now knowing about this, everybody
clamors for it.

Note: opinions expressed on HPSCHD-L are those of the individual con-
tributors and not necessarily those of the list owners nor of the Uni-
versity of Iowa. For a brief summary of list commands, send mail to
[log in to unmask] saying HELP .
