A few days ago, I recall someone asking about the availability of
Fischer facsimiles.

Some months ago, I was randomly browsing the shelves of the University
of Toronto music library when I came upon the Elizabeth Edgeworth Book.
This contains what appear to be autographs of several composers, but
mostly J.C.F. Fischer. Considering the title of this volume, there seem
to be two possibilites explaining the presence of Fischer in the
collection:

1) the autographs are Fischer's own writings, which came into
Edgeworth's possession at a later date, with other works copied into the
remaining blank pages,
2) Fischer's works were recopied out by hand into a music notebook.

As I recall, information as to the source of the material was sketchy.
The music is on six-line staves, with a C-clef for the right hand and an
F-clef for the left.

I don't know if this interests anybody, but I could provide the Library
of Congress numbers on demand.
