The more sophisticated tuning machines like Sanderson Accu-tuner and the
Reyburn Cybertuner are aiming the tuning at the harmonic, ir inharmonic,
characteristics of each individual piano tuned. (I think the Sanderson does
this - this is the whoel point of the Reyburn system) The computer figures out
ow to adjust the temperament to the particular piano, including stretched or
compressed octaves where necessary etc. The next step will be to do this for
the uinequal temps, where both the keys and the piano are accomodated.
