Peter wrote, he managed to keep out of the last show, I think probably
I should keep out of this one.  However, I have always been led to
believe Ruckers used Picea Abies for his soundboards.  I think the
lime ran out half way through the Ruckers dynasty and they then moved
onto poplar.   I am of the opinion the pear I use for the long bridge
is not true to form, and that the master used cherry.   I have used
cherry but much prefer pear.  Apart from that, I believe I run true to
form!!
