All the benefits provided by Facebook boil down to just one: the ability to
post pictures without resorting to an external website. This has proved to
be very useful in detailing building processes.
On the other hand, setting apart the security and economic issues, as
Andrew Bernard already underlined, it is nearly impossible - or very
unpractical - to do discussions on subtle subjects and at a fair length.
Not everything can be said in 3-4 lines. In fact, the posts on the facebook
group are much shorter and simpler than here.
Maybe a system for allowing pictures could be envisioned, still maintaining
the ability of backsearch, an ability I do use very often.
And by the way, as a member by 1996 (or maybe 1998, don't remember
exactly), thank you David.
