A friend has lent me a lovely cd, I think: Laura Alvini playing Handel
(CD FR9934-2, Frame label, produced in Italy). I think Ms. Alvini must
be playing an Italian instrument, though the cd doesn't say, blast it.
The recording quality is lovely and the harpsichord has a brilliant,
tight sound.

There's a website on the box: http://www.quadroframe.it/  though I
haven't checked it out.

No fine points from me: I simply like the instrument, the sound, and the
music.
