Hi all,
I've no objection to list members going into endless detail about metal (or
any other topic), though my own personal attitude toward strings tends to be
along the lines of "send me a string and I'll put it on." But, as others have
pointed out, I'm free to delete any number of messages I like. Which brings
me to my request:

Please, please, if you ascertain that the topic has shifted into new ground,
CHANGE THE SUBJECT HEADING!! How many times have I accidentally opened a
message whose subject line has hitherto led me to deletion, only to discover
that the topic has changed and is now of interest to me.

And while I'm pleased that we feel so passionately about our professions, my
Anglo-Germanic midwestern half could wish that some of our debates did not
descend to the level of personal insult.
