You know, in a world of "professionals" I would think that we could all
agree to disagree. I am new to the organ world, and it is rather
disheartening to open my email and have to sift through a bunch of baseless
arguments everyday. Is this pointless discussion ever going to end? People
have different tastes, and obviously that is human nature, but I thought the
purpose of this list was for professional discussion, not random bickering.

No Bob I am not kidding. Size doesn't necessarily make for a musical
experience. I would get very bored with the kinds of sounds emanating from
an electronic organ. I think the real problem for organists is that they
believe changing stops is the same as making a musical performance. I
believe this is one of the main reasons that non organist musicians find
organs unmusical.

One stop, one manual?? You have to be kidding! Boredom plus after 30
minutes! Have you ever really tried a "toaster" in the last 10 years? Maybe
not!
