I suggest you look to English and American village church organs of the past
for precedents.  Indeed, a number of these are available for relocation
through the Organ Clearing House.  I also have a small english organ built
around 1900,
with 10 stops on two manuals and pedal.  It would fit into an approximately 8
x
8' space, 12' 8" tall.  Let me know if you are interested.
