This Tuesday, we welcome Cristiano Rizzotto, Director of Music and Organist of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Golden Valley, MN.
His program and biography are below. Recitals begin at 12:35 pm, directly after the 12:10 pm Mass, and the public is most welcome. There is no charge.

BIOGRAPHY
Latvian Brazilian Cristiano Rizzotto is the Organist & Choirmaster at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Golden Valley and a doctoral candidate at the American Organ Institute at the University of Oklahoma, under Dr. John Schwandt. Rizzotto was named a member of The Diapason‘s 20 Under 30 Class of 2017. He has played concerts in Argentina, Brazil, Italy, Latvia, Norway, and in 19 American states. Performances this year include Alaska and Poland. Cristiano’s recordings on Youtube amount to over one million views (www.youtube.com/CristianoRizzotto). Rizzotto holds a Master’s degree in Sacred Music from East Carolina University and a Bachelor’s degree in piano performance from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (Magna cum Laude). He was previously the organist at Benedictine Abbey in Rio de Janeiro, owner of one of the oldest organs in South America (1770s) and where the Carioca monks have kept the tradition of the chants and liturgy alive since the 16th century. Cristiano and Clara Rizzotto married in Alaska in 2015 and are now the proud parents of Kristian Walter, born in June 2017. For more information, visit www.cristianorizzotto.com.
