'Allo -  I was going to write something about a benefit event for
mark Thalander [sp?]  into which I wandered when in Pasadena last
March.  A universe entirely alien to me, in which I was somewhat
uncomprehending.

But there was, near the beginning of the Event, a tug of war between
the organist for the prelude, one Fred Swann, and the Voice of God
in the form of an Announcer on the Very Effective speaker system.

I had the impression that Dr.Swann was the winner.
