retrieve the archives for the third week in June 1996, you would send
the command

to [log in to unmask] .
 
Similarly, to retrieve this archive using FTP, you would ftp anonymously
to albany.edu, cd piporg96, get piporg96.log9606c .  Archives are also
accessible from the web page http://albany.eduj/~piporg-l/ in a self-
evident fashion.
 
1996 postings amounted to about 753,000 lines occupying 35 MB.
 
While moving the files, I reblocked them so that no line exceeds 80
characters.
