Let's not forget the Steere organ at the Congregational Church in
Menomonie, Wisconsin, somewhat altered but largely true to its
original concept.
But the true jewel of Menomonie is the 2-manual. 25-stop Steere & Turner
organ located in the theatre of the Mabel Tainter Memorial building. Completed
in 1890, this organ was the subject of an article in The Tracker some years
back. The theatre itself is a fine historical restoration and the organ is
well-tended.
Tours are conducted daily and recitals, concerts and plays are held several
