Hello all,
It's that time of year again, when the recordings that were packed away
with the Christmas decorations get pulled back out and added into the
Organlive library. Starting today, our 24 hour broadcast of classical
organ music will be peppered with a bit of music for Advent and
Christmas. It's presence will grow gradually until it takes over the
majority of our broadcast sometime around the 20th of December.
Some get annoyed that we might dare to play a Christmas tune while it's
technically still Advent, but would you believe others get annoyed that
we don't do enough! To that end, this year we have set up a special
broadcast for just those people. It's an entirely separate stream of
only Christmas organ music. Just like Organlive, Christmas Organlive is
free and plays 24 hours a day. Just go to http://xmas.organlive.com to
tune in and listen.
And if you want to escape the season for a while and just listen to some
beautiful organ music, you can always tune in to Positively Baroque,
where we only play organ music from the 18th century and earlier. You
can find that at http://www.positivelybaroque.com. It's all free and
available on your computer, your internet radio, or your smartphone. If
you have a Roku or AppleTV, you can find our stations there as well!
Happy Holidays!
