This information was kindly supplied to me by Ray Biswanger, President of the Friends of
the Wanamaker Organ.  So a little trivia and clarification:

Thanks for the piece, Paul. The Stewart Building part of the Wanamaker
Complex (which is not the part of the Store where the Organ was) burned in the '50s, hence
the confusion. The organ was not quite finished, either, when Dupre inaugurated it.
