Dear Friends,

I am writing to inform you of a recital at Brick Church this coming Monday
evening by the sensational American concert organist Stephen Tharp. Stephen
will perform on our celebrated Anderson organ (Casavant Frères op. 3837) on
Monday, October 1 at 7:30 p.m. (please note the earlier starting time from
previous seasons). For your perusal, I have included Stephen's program
below. On Monday we will also launch Mr. Tharp's recently released
commercial recording of the Brick Church organ on the JAV label. On this CD,
Stephen performs works of Guilmant, Hakim, Jongen, Tournemire and the
premiere recording of Oliver Latry's "Arabesque". Copies of this CD will be
available for purchase the evening of the concert.

General admission tickets are $20 and will be available at the Park Avenue
at 91st Street starting at 7:00 p..m. on Monday.

I do hope that you will be able to join us for this evening of fine organ music.
