The Conservatory of Music of Shenandoah University, as the school is now
known, does indeed have a modern Moller tracker. The organ sits in a
gallery, high on the central axis of Goodson Chapel Recital Hall on the
Winchester campus. It is a pleasant instrument of 30-some ranks and is
in almost original condition. The languids in the lowest octave of the
Great Principal suffered metal fatigue and were rebuilt last year.
Steven Cooksey is Professor of Organ at Shenandoah and is very
accommodating. If anyone is interested in visiting the instrument I'm
sure he would be delighted to show it off. The Northern Virginia AGO
chapter will be visiting this organ and several other area organs in
October. If anyone wants to know more, feel free to email me with any
questions.
