Hi Bruce,
The organ is an extension organ by Paul F. Hufner of Perth West Australia
(1966) of six ranks disposed as follows:

Great: Open Diapason 8,4, 2 2/3, 2'
Clarabel 8,4,2'
Dulciana 8,4,2,1 1/3, 1'.
Lieblich Gedecht 16, 8'
Sw to Gt super, unison and sub octave.

Swell: Lieblich gedecht 8, 4, 2 2/3, 2
Gamba 8,4,2,1 1/3, 1
Horn 8.
Sw super, sub. octave

Pedal: flues derived, Bourdon 16,8,4
Open Diapason 8,4.
Bassflute (Clar) 8, 4
Dulciana 8.
Electronic stops Subbass 16
Trombone 16
Fagotto 16
Trumpet 8
Cromorne 4.

Gt, sw to pedal.
Brown and Arkley combination system with four memories
B. and A. coupling system
Direct electric and el. pn. action.

The church has a quite lively acoustic. Seats 300.
This is the best extension organ I have played. The swell chorus reed is
quite big, pipe work is warm.
Metal pipes from Rogers of the UK, wooden pipes Hufner.

The programme is designed for general interest, not for an exhibition of
digital dexterity

Prelude and Fugue in D major (J.C. Simon, 1701-1776 - German)
Chorale Preludes: Ivory Palaces (Young),
Mannheim (modern English composer - I have not the book at home. Can't
remember who)
Variations on God Save the King (Chas Wesley)
The Hills are alive (Sound of Music) *
Londonderry Air *
Acclamation (June Nixon)

*With a fairly deep tremulant this organ can sound very muich like a
Wurlitzer Theatre organ! The people LOVE it so don't knock it!
The programme is designed for popular appeal. It is not set in concrete yet.
There are two weeks to go.
Bob Elms.
