Sorry for this intrusion, but I would like to tell you about an upcoming
concert series in the New York City area that you might be interested in
attending.
 
The series is at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Brooklyn, NY and begins on
Sunday, Oct. 5 at 6:00 p.m.. and continues every Sunday until Dec. 14th. All
the concerts except for Dec 7th are free!
 
We have some very fine musicians performing this year including organists:
Dr. Michael Kaminski & Cynthia Powell.  Also participating will be Iris
Dreke: Flute, Dorinda Gay: Trumpet, Rebecca Pechefsky: Harpsichord and many
more. Plus this year our local community college's, Kingsborough Community
College will be presenting their annual Christmas concert at our church.
Their program will include Mozart's Coronation Mass K. 317. The final concert
of the series will be presented by Good Shepherd's own Chancel Choir. The
program will consist of part 1 of Handel's MESSIAH accompanied by a 20 piece
chamber orchestra.
