As far as electronic instruments go, you could add Aram Basmodjian and Hector
Olivera to the list. And for what it's worth, the choir I accompany has taken
a
3-manual instrument on nearly every tour since 1997. Each tour lasts two to
three-and-a-half weeks and involves seven to fourteen different venues. We
have
a big rig that carries all of the organ equipment along with choir risers, a
foldback system, and the larger instruments for the instrumental ensemble.
There are many challenges, but on the whole the sound is more impressive than
it
was in the days when we used one or two grand pianos.
Regarding portable pipe instruments, the Israeli organbuilder Gideon Shamir
recently completed a touring pipe organ, but I haven't seen the specification.
The last time I visited him it was still in its earliest stages. You can read
a
little bit about Gideon at http://www.geocities.com/121242/gidon.html .
