Hello all -
I probably mentioned a while back that Iım involved in the process of
getting a Hauptwerk organ installed in a large concert hall. It will be used
primarily with orchestra. It is currently planned to be 4 manual and indeed
the console has already been donated. A question arose about whether a 4th
manual is even needed. A Hauptwerk dealer has suggested we might want to
cut back to three. He says there arenıt that many 4 manual sample sets
anyway. This concert hall installation will be even more limited in that a
dry set will be needed when itıs used with orchestra because the hall is
live ³wet². What might some opinion be on this matter? And donıt mention a
pipe organ. Itıs not even a remote possibility. Thanks.
