As the original reference was to a First Congregational Church, perhaps
the "other" one being cited was the First Congregational Church here in
Los Angeles which, as many listers will know, has the E.M.Skinner Opus 856
(1931) in the front, and the 1969 Schlicker neo-baroque organ in the rear
gallery, which together (and they can be played together from either of
two solid state consoles) constitute the largest organ in a church in the
world.
