The editors of the convention booklet could not have known that by the
time of the convention in July, Mrs Hancock would have been awarded an
honorary doctorate. This information is for those who will need to know
to address their Christmas cards to "Dr. and Dr. Hancock." Gerre
received another in May, as well -- an honorary Doctor of Divinity
(it's about time after all those divine improvisations!) iIrc, and is
receiving another sometime soon. Shall we keep an eye out on eBay for
sales on old, used honorary degrees? :-)
