Bits of bad news at the monastery....
We were supposed to record our Christmas repertoire today for a CD to be released later in the year, but my recording engineer came down with the flu, so we had a very disappointed choir today, having had a boffo rehearsal on the stuff on Thursday! 

It's below zero here, with the wind chill factor.. thank God for the space heaters the nuns bought us for the organ loft.  ALAS: The smaller of two boilers, the one that services the back part where the nuns live, burst and blew a hole in the wall.  It will take some doing (and much money) to repair and replace. Please join us in praying that the monastery benefactors will open their hearts (and checkbooks!) for our dear ladies.
