The 1963 Aeolian-Skinner (Whiteford) at St. Luke's Episcopal in San
Francisco has a 4' Octave that is definitely louder than the 8' Principal
on the Great.  I haven't had a chance to see the scales involved.
Perhaps this was a post-Harrison trend?
 
Where did you get scales from Ste-Clotilde?  I'm usually on top sources
like that!
