Hello All -

I was looking around the internet for Hauptwerk sample sets last night and
coming up short. Iım hoping Iım missing something. The local music festival
and school is installing an instrument for the summer season in the
orchestra hall, which is actually a big space-age fabric tent made of the
same material as the main terminal of the Denver airport. The acoustic is
live. I found a great many very wet European organ sample sets which are
exactly what is not needed. I found virtually no American organs represented
other than one E. M. Skinner. Are there any other American sample sets that
would be appropriate for a large concert hall? Where are the Aeolian
Skinners? Where are sample sets of some of the newer excellent American
organs? I also came across sets that were listed as having both wet and dry
versions but could not find one demo of a dry version. Iıve heard that dry
versions have the ³tails² cut off (room reverberation) and would be
concerned that this might take away some elements of the true pipe sound?
Can anybody help me out here? Thanks.

Jon in Aspen
