I have a 17 rank J. W. Steere and Sons Tracker organ at Forest Lawn Memorial
Park in Hollywood Hills Calif. It was originally installed in the First
Presbyterian Church of Mankato, MN. I don't recall it's opus number but it
was installed in 1896. They sold the organ to us in the early 1960s. It was
installed in one of our churches and is in constant use. Just played it
yesterday. Unfortunately it's not in the best of condition but then again,
none of Forest Lawn's 6 pipe organs are in good condition. (sigh) The church
replaced it with a Moller, and a few years ago the Moller was replaced with a
Rodgers.
